BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

My students' behavioral expectations are consistent with the school's. Please ask any questions or direct any comments to me, Ms. Miller or Ms. Davis.

Briefly, this procedure is what I follow in my classroom:

  • Students who demonstrate appropriate behavior will earn greater freedoms and priviledges.
  • Students who choose to continually misbehave:
    • 1st occurence - Warning (with clear expectations of appropriate behaviors and consequences
    • 2nd occurence - Loss of one priviledge (seating, recess).
    • 3rd occurrence - Loss of all freedoms (and parent notification).
    • Severe disruption - Suspension (Includes disruption of instruction, harming self, others or school property).

I strongly urge you to review and discuss hallway, classroom, playground and bus expectations with your child.

I'm certain that mutual cooperation and concern among students, parents and teaching staff will ensure the most enjoyable and productive learning environment for your child.
